My name isn’t particularly important. Around here, people simply call me the keeper of The Seoul Paper Club. A tiny corner tucked somewhere between an old bookshop, a stationery store and a café that always smells faintly of tea and fresh paper.

Every month we choose one remarkable story. Not always the loudest one. Not always the most famous. Just the one we think deserves to travel a little further. This month, that story has travelled all the way from Seoul, Korea.

Inside these pages you’ll step into a world shaped by ancient rivalries, unforgettable companions and legends that have been whispered for generations. It’s the beginning of an extraordinary fantasy, very different to the worlds many of us have grown up reading. One of these is filled with creatures you’ll meet for the first time…
