MONTHLY DROP: Red Riding Hood

Description

You know the story. A girl in red. A path through the woods…

Just stay on the path!

Obviously…we won’t be doing that.

This October, The Book Case is heading somewhere a little darker — into a world of tangled forests, questionable choices, dangerous attraction and the kind of wolf you were definitely warned about.

Our featured book is a deliciously fun, spicy supernatural romance that takes the familiar big-bad-wolf idea and gives it a very unexpected twist! Expect small-town secrets, undeniable chemistry, something wild lurking beneath the surface and a romance that proves sometimes the thing waiting in the woods isn’t necessarily something you want to run from…

And because we wouldn’t want to send you into the woods empty-handed…this month’s case has a collection of quirky, bookish provisions for the journey — useful reading treats, little woodland oddities, touches of red, and a few things inspired by fairy tales, dark forests and bad decisions.

So pull up your hood. Take your basket. Ignore every sensible piece of advice you’ve ever been given…and let’s go!
